The grumpy-est Autobot this side of Huffer. Now I just need to add Black Costume Spider-Man and a webbed wrapped Megatron and POW we'd have the comic book cover for Transformers 3.

Finally!!! ... the fully painted and operational Mer-Man of Masters of the Universe Fame. I did that initial sketch a while ago... then a gray scale... and now!!! woo hoo... done. I sorta, kinda borrowed the lighting scheme from the popular Todd Harris piece... hey, steal from the best right? :) A very big thank you to Sebastian and Ben for invaluable critiques and suggestions and pure awesomeness.

Here we have the leader of the soldiers of the future Captain Power. What a great animated show that would make, no?
A slightly different version of Darth Vader. What is with Jedi and Sith always chopping off limbs anyway. They do that allot. I'd like to see a montage of all the limb chopping they do.
Finally, everyone's favorite Deception fuel auditor: Rat-Bat!!! It is theorized Megatron forced Rat-Bat to become one of Soundwave's tapes to keep a better eye on him. I did a sort of combo of the War With in Ratbat, my favorite parts of the original toy and Transformers Animated.

One of my favorite episodes of the ol 85' transformers was Enter the Nightbird. Nightbird is a female robot ninja!!! It don't get better than that. I was always so sad she was only in one episode... but maybe that's part of what makes her so cool.
I really wanted to see what Nightbird would look like in the Transformers Animated universe, so I did yet another of my Derrick "the man" Wyatt impressions. (I just love his work so much.)

My five year old daughter and I have been watching ALLOT of Transformers Animated and Teen Titans lately. I'm lucky she likes robots and super heroes as much as Ponies and Fairies. So... Battle of the Planets!

The first TV show I ever loved was probably G-Force. Also known as Battle of the Planets or Gatchaman. I wouldn't see Star Wars for a couple of years after video cassettes became widely available. So, as much as I love my Star Wars... Battle of the Planets was in fact my first.


My other favorite show was Battle Star Galactica. I ought to try a BSG fan sketch.
